Canberra International Music Festival
Live, MusicMusic, performance and music mixed with eating. The Canberra International Music Festival is doing a Mediterranean edition over eleven days.
This year’s program features Monteverdi, Bach, Mozart, Boccherini, Vivaldi, Scarlatti, Ravel, Granados… flamenco, medieval music and work by Gerard Brophy, the Festival’s 2016 Composer-in-Residence. And they’ll be busting out some rhythms from Latin America, from tango and samba to Mexican percussion.
