Poetry and Public Apology
TalkDr Bridget Vincent explores the relationship between Australian poet Judith Wright’s work and her activism, based on new research in Wright’s personal papers. While Wright was careful to keep a distance between her poetic and political commitments, the archives reveal surprising rhetorical continuities between the poetry and the aesthetic dimensions of her other writings.
