Brought to you by Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres in partnership with BAD!SLAM!NO!BISCUIT!, The Salt Room is a bi-monthly performance night that presents poetry in its many forms featuring national, international and Territory performers from varied disciplines. From slam poets to experimental musicians, The Salt Room effortlessly weaves together performance and storytelling to showcase some of the brightest sparks in the national poetry scene.

Now in its second year, The Salt Room has become a core part of Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres dedicated poetry stream, which also includes the Australian National Poetry Slam (ACT Finals) in October. Grab a drink of mulled wine and cosy up to hear some of Australia’s most interesting and dynamic poets and storytellers in the beautiful Gorman Main Hall.
