Studio Round did the branding and way-finding for Hotel Hotel.


Their ability to translate a beautiful and effective type direction in both two and three-dimensional form has been clear since their studio opened with an upholstered version of their company name sprawled across the polished floorboards.

Their initial concept for the hotel branding was to beg, borrow or steal the collateral needed to run a hotel – the letterhead, the online ads, the hotel menus… A grand vision of begging, borrowing, or stealing for the sake of reusing materials rather than making new ones.
