Reading for the End of Time
Exhibition, PerformanceAs part of his exhibition ‘Foreign Looking’, Mike Parr will undertake a durational performance based on French literary theorist and philosopher Roland Barthes’ ‘Camera Lucida’ (‘La Chamber Claire’). The book is at once an essay on the essence of photography and a eulogy to Barthes’ mother.
