Jazz baby – Satoko Fujii, and trumpeter Natsuki Tamura are mashing it up with the 18 piece Sirens Big Band to perform Fujii’s ‘Fukushima Suite’ and other works.
Fujii and Tamura are two of the most original voices in contemporary jazz today. Their music blends jazz, contemporary classical, rock, and traditional Japanese music into an innovative synthesis that’s just theirs.
This should be good.
